Congratulations to Paxton High School’s aerospace students who earned their Small Unmanned Aerial Systems Safety Certification from the Unmanned Safety Institute. These students also earned six hours of university credit in aerospace science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University this year. Next year these students will work toward earning their Federal Aviation Administration Remote Pilot Certificate, which will allow them to operate an unmanned aerial system, also known as a drone, commercially.
