Jeannine Abadie

Math

Ms. Abadie was born in Chalmette, Louisiana. She is a graduate of South Walton High School. Ms. Abadie went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades Math Education (grades 5-9) at Northwest Florida State College. Upon graduation, she received certification in math education for grades 6-12 and ESOL endorsement. She has a Master of Science degree from the University of West Florida in Mathematics and Statistics and will graduate May 2020 with a second master's degree from UWF in Instructional Design and Technology. Ms. Abadie has taught college algebra at NWFSC and this is her 7th year teaching at ECMS.

Bob Grant

Civics

Mr. Grant came to the Gulf Coast with his Air Force family in 1964.  He grew up in Fort Walton Beach, while graduating from Fort Walton Beach High School, Northwest Florida State College, and Florida State University.  He served 30+ years as a YMCA professional before retiring in 2012. 2019 begins his 7th  year of teaching and his certifications include ESE, PE, Social Studies, and Language Arts.  His wife Kiersten is also a teacher and they have four children - Paige, George, Alyssa, and Anne-Marie.

Tonia Murray

Science

Mrs. Murray was originally from New Hampshire.  She is a graduate of Lebanon High School home of the Red Raiders. Mrs. Murray went on to Emory University and returned to NH to receive a Bachelors of Science at the University of New Hampshire at Keene.  She taught in NH before teaching here in Walton County at both Van R. Butler and ECMS.
